      1. The first effing amendment, for your consideration:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Thomas Jefferson spoke of a “wall of separation between Church and State” in a letter to some Baptists who were concerned of government interference in their worship. The first amendment bans the government from creating laws to favor one religion over another, or restricting a particular religion. That’s it.

There, you learned something today. Who said the internet is useless?

      1. That said, Republicans are hypocritical morons that reveal in every single thing they accuse Democrats of (namely rigging elections), actively avoid fact checks, and believe “truth” is something “you feel in your heart” rather than looking at hard evidence.

That’s because they have “faith” and by definition “faith” is believing something regardless of contrary evidence.

        But mostly morons.

Trump during election: “WE’RE GOING TO DRAIN THE SWAMP IN WASHINGTON!”

Trump after election: *Hires several CEOs for his cabinet and a (I shit you not) Neo Nazi.

  1. People seem to forget that Republican and Conservative are not synonymous. It’s just that the ones who get all the media attention are. I know many Republicans who are quite Liberal.
