  1. It’s problamatic to put someone who may have had gay relations (Lincoln) with mass murderers like Jackson.

And where’s Reagan, one of the biggest mass murdering president of all with his support and arming of Central American death squads?

  2. Okay……why exactly is Lincoln on here? The implication I’m getting from that is that it’s trying to say that being gay is bad. So seriously? Why is he up there when he did so many good things?

And JFK should get adultery as well as the drug addiction. It’s pretty common knowledge that he slept with Marylin Monroe.

  3. Maybe Lincoln should be there for this:

“I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in anyway the social and political equality of the white and black races – that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race. I say upon this occasion I do not perceive that because the white man is to have the superior position the negro should be denied everything.”

  4. Technically, Lincoln is conjectured to have been bisexual, not homosexual.

James Buchanan, on the other had, is conjectured to have been homosexual. He supposedly had a long-term relationship with a male Senator. He never married, though he was engaged to marry a woman at one time. Otherwise, there is virtually no indication that he was interested in women.

The point is not that non-heterosexuality is wrong, but that a large portion of the population considers it such, to varying degrees.

Kennedy was also tied to organized crime and was a serial adulterer.

Nixon is on record as an anti-Semite.

Bush, Sr. is on record as advocating disenfranchising atheists.

    Wilson was a well-documented racist.

    Clinton was a draft dodger.

W was a draft dodger, in a sense.

(If you’re inclined to argue that Reagan was a murderer for his violent Central American policies, you’d have to add LBJ, W, Eisenhower, and Teddy, at the least, to the murderer list for engaging in wars with weak justification.)
