    1. Assuming you live in the US, comedy sites could potentially cost you extra to access without the current rules in place.

      1. Not really unless it’s a subscription comedy site. The site might have to pay more to your ISP for, say, better video lanes which could cause them to offset the cost with more ads. ISPs were making CDNs pay more until NN passed, but not their customers (although they could have in theory).

        Bottom line, somebody’s going to pay for it eventually, with or without NN. NN just prohibits ISPs from extracting that money from the CDNs (e.g. Netflix).

        (I know, I know, nobody cares. . .)

        1. That’s not true. It can be blocked entirely unless you buy your ISP’s Comedy Package.

          I know, that is an extreme scenario, but it illustrates the point well.
