We’ve all had one, and if you think you haven’t then you may very well still be in the middle of it. It is pain and alienation, it is exploration and discovery. I speak, of course, of The Awkward Stage. Sorry to be all dramatic, but the awkward stage lays the foundation for the rest of life, so it’s pretty important. All of these fine folks made it to adulthood and are doing great (we assume), so we can look back and laugh.
