Advertising departments are full of guys who tried way too hard to relate to teenagers. So are teacher’s lounges. Memes are cool and funny but when people try to make money off of them or use them in an educational setting it just comes off like hanging out with Uncle Rick. Not cool, and kind of sweaty. Next time you see an attempt at doing a meme from someone who tried way too hard, just smile, nod, and make fun of them.
