It’s okay to be brutally honest, sometimes that’s what you need to snap out of a bad behavior. I expect my girlfriend or my parent or teacher to be brutally honest, sure. But when some random sign for a restaurant is so brutally honest it makes me spend the rest of the day with my face in my hands? Not so great. If I saw one of these signs my first thought would be, “Why are you mad at me? You’re an inanimate object. Knock it off”.
