Fortune cookies are supposed to be a nice fun distraction, not something that hits you with an actual truth bomb. I eat to avoid that. Usually people joke that fortune cookies don’t get anything right. That’s usually the case, obviously. They’re just vague things that you randomly relate to sometimes. But that doesn’t stop you from wanting to find the jerk that wrote the thing and yell at them.
