Mannequins may look like people, but they’re just inanimate figures for modeling clothes. Except for when they’re in really stupid poses and you can somehow sense that the mannequin is actually really embarrassed. Then they’re sort of like people. They may not be alive, but does that mean they can’t suffer? That’s either a bad philosophy question or a good premise for a horror movie. Either way, we must love them as they are: weird, funny, and kind of creepy.
