The teachers you remember and love best were the funny teachers. They’re also the ones where you wonder how the hell they got hired in the first place. It’s not like there’s some rule against funny teachers, but just that most teachers are so extremely not-funny that it almost seems like a requirement. And it’s also true that the daily grind of having to manage hundreds of screaming hyper kids a day probably wears a person down. So it takes a “special” kind of person to withstand all of those pressures and still have the energy to act like a complete nut in front of their students.
