Rapper Mac Miller died on Friday of an apparent drug overdose, according to reports. He was 26-years-old.
TMZ reported on Friday that officials found Miller at his home in San Fernando Valley and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have not released any information on what the rapper overdosed on. However, they did say a male friend made the 9-1-1 call from his home.
Miller has had a long fight with substance abuse, having gotten into a car accident where he crashed his G-Wagon and was charged with a DUI. His ex-girlfriend, Ariana Grande, stated their relationship ended due to his inability to stay sober.
Miller had also just released a new album and was planning to go on tour this October. On Twitter, celebrities and fans alike are mourning the death of an incredibly talented artist.
