Well, this is honestly just bizarre. An as-of-yet unidentified woman in a Dollar General in Shadyside, Pittsburgh was caught on video calling the cashier the N-word, among other insults like “ugly.” But her tirade seemed to be brought on by absolutely nothing at all. Not that there’s ever a good reason for tirades such as this, but this one truly came out of nowhere.

In the video, the cashier explains that he didn’t say anything to the lady, but she freaked out at him anyway. The cashier tells the woman that she’s about to “go viral” but she responds that it doesn’t matter because she hasn’t said her name. In the same video, she can be heard telling the cashier to “shut your f**king mouth” and “suck my dick.” Truly awful, but also truly strange.
At one point in the video, the cashier tells the woman again that the video will be sent to corporate, but she just responds that she doesn’t care.
By the end of the video, the woman is, oddly enough, thanking the cashier and telling him that “black men have nice penises.” What is even going on with her?? Is she straight up racist or sort of mentally ill?
People on Twitter couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her.
The jury is still out on what’s wrong with this woman, but she clearly said some very upsetting things to the cashier. Kudos to him for remaining calm, cool, and collected.
