Demi Adejuyigbe (otherwise known as @electrolemon on Twitter) is undoubtedly one of the web’s finest joke-smiths. A writer for Season 1 of The Good Place on NBC and currently a staff writer of The Late Late Show with James Corden, Demi has a penchant for the timely and the absurd. Take one of his specialties for example, creating original Will Smith-inspired tracks to the latest movie releases.
oh wow, just caught a preview of Donald Glover’s Lando rap for the Han #SoloMovie. didn’t realize we’d be getting new Childish Gambino music so soon!! i hope Disney doesn’t take this down! pic.twitter.com/t1BTAAiDiE

However, one of Adejuyigbe’s crowning goofs is his annual homage to September 21st, in which he pays tribute to Earth, Wind, & Fire’s ‘September’ by making all the lyrics “Do you remember the 21st of September.”
Here’s the original September 21, 2016 masterpiece:

And let’s not forget September 21st, 2017:

This year, however, Demi took the production level to the next level with, you know what, I don’t want to spoil anything. See for yourself.

This year’s video also comes with an added bonus. Adejuyigbe is selling those iconic ‘Sept 21’ shirts, with all the profits going to RAINN, RAICES Texas, and Trans Equality. You can pick up yours HERE and help out some great causes.
I’m looking forward to September 21, 2029 when we get the iteration directed by Spike Jonze.
