You’re sitting at home or driving to work. Suddenly, you hear it. That toe-tapping beat. The finger-snapping rhythm. The music seems to take over your entire body, sending you into a convulsive sway as the words begin to burst forth from your lips.
“I want my baby back, baby back, baby back, ribs.”
Chili’s legendary baby back ribs song is among the pantheon of marketing jingles that absolutely slap, along with O’Reilly Auto Parts and Farmer’s Insurance. It’s been a part of our lives for so long now and I personally hope it always will be.
Twitter user @kennykeil pulled the curtain back on the recording process for the hit song and folks, it’s a Triple Dipper of soul, passion, and depth.
