YouTuber Builds Farting Glitter Bomb To Get Revenge On Package Thieves

Earlier this year Mark Rober, a former NASA engineer and Youtuber with over 4 million subscribers had a problem. A couple of brazen thieves had stolen an Amazon package off his stoop. While Rober captured them on his security camera the police said there was nothing they could do.

So Rober took matters into his own skilled hands.

As an engineer who has worked on actual Mars rovers, his solution for getting justice on package thieves everywhere was both high-tech and highly entertaining. Rober designed a fake package that contained a glitter-spraying mechanism that, once opened, shoots the impossible-to-remove party decoration out at high speed, coating everything it touches. Not content with that he also rigged the device to spray five blasts of extra strength “fart spray” to add insult to glitter.

Not long after placing the bait, someone stole Rober’s decoy package. Luckily for us, the vigilante installed a GPS tracking device and four cameras on the glitter bomb so the world could enjoy justice being served.

The results are glorious.

The glitter bomb, which Rober calls his “over-engineered monstrosity,” performs its job flawlessly, spraying glitter and fart juice all over the inside of the thief’s car.

Once you watch the video you’ll be very glad that Rober has chosen to use his powers for good, because the ingenious and devious design of the glitter/fart bomb suggests he could become an unstoppable super villain if he decided to turn towards evil.

After his own revenge was so sweet, Rober’s friends began borrowing the payback package and the videos of that retributive justice are just as satisfying.

Some package thieves freak out when the box starts hissing fart smell and spraying glitter but many are just surprised and start laughing at the absurdity of the situation.

Most simply throw the offensive package into the garbage or out their car windows…which is pretty odd considering it contains four smartphones that are probably worth more than what they were hoping to steal in the first place. On the other hand it also contains a tracking device that could get them busted and not just crop-dusted.

According to Rober “The moral of the story is: Just don’t take other people’s stuff. Not only is it not cool, but on the plus side: You’ll never find yourself in this situation.”

Also stay in school, kids, so you can be the glitter-er and not the glitter-ee.
