Samuel L. Jackson Has A Strong Opinion About The Whole MFer Controversy

The aftershock of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib calling President Trump a “motherf**ker” has not yet faded away. People are still talking about whether or not it was professional for her to use that word while calling for his impeachment. Republicans are still clutching their pearls about the whole thing, despite the fact that the president has said things so much more vulgar (“grab them by the p***y,” for example) it’s not even funny.

The latest person to weigh in on this fake controversy that’s not even a controversy except in the media is Samuel L. EmEffing Jackson, who could maybe at this point in his career (considering Pulp Fiction and Snakes on a Plane) claim ownership of the word. And what does he think? He’s motherf**king fine with it. Actually, he’s motherf**king endorsing it.

On Sunday night, the actor sent a tweet to Tlaib which read “I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your Motherf**king goal last week.” He went on to say, with various different spellings, that calling Trump a motherf**ker isn’t an issue, calling him President is.

Another person who is totally fine with calling Trump that word is former Canadian prime minister Kim Campbell, who used it herself when referring to him in a tweet.

That makes her the second person in just 3 days to publicly call him that. I’m liking this new aspect of 2019.

And lots of people on Twitter cheered for Jackson’s take.

Maybe it’s time to take up an office pool on who’ll be the next to call Trump a motherf**ker. My money is on RBG.
