Much of the world has come around to the notion that women and men deserve to be treated equally.
There are still people (men) out there, however, who simply do not understand why a woman doing the same job as a man might expect to be paid the same wage, or why any woman in her right mind would not want to be murdered just for rejecting a man or merely existing. Granted, these are all pretty confusing concepts, made even more so when presented in joke format.
