We all engage in unhealthy behaviors as a coping mechanism. Some of us gravitate towards food, or booze, or overspending, or heavy napping. Others enjoy self-deprecation, or other-people-deprecation, or treating mental health and emotions as a big ole joke. And now, people on Twitter are sharing heir idiotic habits with the catchall lead-in “due to personal reasons…”
So the meme format is the somewhat official and serious “due to personal reasons” announcement followed by something questionable, or dumb, or unexpected, but mostly…really funny. And did I mention dumb? Here are our favorite examples:
