Boyfriend Keeps Taking Pictures Of His Girlfriend With Her Engagement Ring…Without Her Noticing

Are pre-proposal engagement ring pranks a thing? Well they are now thanks to a man named Edi Okoro who took a series of photos of his girlfriend Cally Read with her engagement ring…before proposing to her. Okoro filled an entire Facebook album with his pre-proposal photos, posing with the ring in increasingly daring places while his girlfriend remained completely oblivious.

In a post, Okoro said the idea for the engagement ring prank came to him when he was carrying the ring around and trying to decide the best possible way to propose.

“After a month or so of waiting for the right moment, I was sitting on the sofa admiring “my precious” (yes I became very attached to this ring by this point) Cally almost caught me staring at the ring, and it hit me!….All these missed opportunities mixed in with the thought – Cally doesn’t know I have the ring!! I should just start documenting these moments! 🙈”

Okoro essentially photobombed his unaware girlfriend wherever he could. At the hardware store…

Even in the bedroom.

Some setups were quite risky…

He went so far as to balance the ring on his girlfriend’s back while she was using her phone in bed.

Just how audacious did Okoro’s engagement ring pranks get, you ask? He even placed the ring IN HIS GIRLFRIEND’S HAND while she was fast asleep. Now that takes stones. Specifically diamonds.

You can read Edi’s personal account of the pre-proposal prank on Facebook. He claims that he eventually found the perfect moment to propose for real but that it’s “a story in its own right.”

Hopefully he wasn’t beaten too severely when his new fiancée found out about the long-running prank.
