I’m not even sure what style of art you would call this. It’s beautifully offputting. It somehow has a childlike innocence while still being gratuitously gory and violent. I love it. I think all movie posters should be made in another country by people who have never seen the movie.

Due to licensing and printing costs, some African theaters gave the task to artists to paint the posters for movies being shown…
Some artists had no reference to what movie they was drawing so some just guessed…
