I remember when I first started this page I felt so discouraged that I didn’t have a large platform to put my ideas out with. It stopped me for a long time. It wasn’t until I shifted my thinking that I started to see progress and growth take place. It started with one post. It got 150 likes. And I remember feeling small seeing that number. Then I realized how giant that number really was. 150 people saw that image and liked it- meaning they saw some value in it. I decided to embrace that as a beginning worth pursuing, rather than brushing it off as unimportant. When I look back at how this community grew- it all comes down to individuals sharing with each other. Not a massive account reposting, or celebrity endorsement. Just a small beginning, taken seriously. Two years ago I wouldn’t believe I’d get to work with a brand like @dvf . Whatever you’re building or creating, respect the beginning moments. That foundation is so important to the potential of what it can turn into. Keep going. What idea of yours, big or small, needs to be taken more seriously?

You must not love me as much as I love you.” A lesson I try to remember is we all have our unique expressions and translations of love. And that’s okay. Been working on accepting people’s unique forms of love even if they’re different than my own. How do you show you love? What makes you feel loved?
