I wanted to do a grandma memes post because my grandma was the funniest person I’ve ever met. The one-liners that would come out of this lady were amazing. The best one came toward the end of her life. She had dementia and advanced Alzheimers, but every once in a while the real grandma would pop back in for a moment.
Grandma had fallen in the hallway and hit her head. We had to take her to the hospital to get it checked out. After getting stitched up the young male doctor said, “Here, let me wipe some of this goop out of your hair and we’ll get you ready to go.” And without missing a beat my grandma replied, “Oh if I had a nickel for every young man who told me that.” I miss her.
