Growing up, I would say anything to get out of school or to buy time on an assignment. To be honest, I think it’s part of the learning process. I never had to get too out there, though. They were always a simple lie because it was a Catholic school and that was horrifying enough. Students will say anything to get out of class but some might have to lie because the truth is so crazy and teachers are sharing the best excuse they’ve heard but turned out to actually be true on Reddit.
