I used to live in an unfinished basement. I’d have run-ins with all kinds of spiders, but the ones that freaked me out the most were the wolf spiders. They are huge, fast, and basically look like a wolf mixed with a spider. Just wanted to give you some context if you’ve never seen one because it makes this story about a cranberry bog that much more disturbing.
