As someone who waitressed for years, stealing tips from your coworkers is the most uncool thing you can do. I worked at a pretty crappy restaurant and tables are transferred all the time because no one could bear to be there for a second longer. Servers have to deal with a lot from bad customers and “Karens” on a daily basis. If I had a fellow server like this, I would probably do the same thing.
If you decide to go out to eat during the pandemic, please remember to tip at least 20% for these hard-working people.
