Good woodworking is so satisfying to watch. The precision. The skill. The detail. All of it. I’ll watch woodworking videos and look at cool woodworking pics for hours, but have never once tried. I live in a studio apartment that can only fit one wood. So, for now, this will have to do.
1. Just completed this Sea Chest
2. Credenza I made. The base was a challenge but I think it turned out nice.
3. I’m still making wooden books. This is a solid mahogany exposed spine journal featuring a Celtic sewing with a coptic headband and spiral binding on hemp ropes. Thanks for your time.
4. Completed my year 12 major project for my woodworking class.
5. Cedar screen door I made
6. Fresh off the table in carved pine.
7. 10yr olds first woodworking project.
8. A theater ceiling we are finishing up.
9. Wifey saw a desk she wanted for $150, I said I could make that for half the price and twice as good, $300 later here is the result
10. I carved and gifted the “Terminator pipe” to Arnold birthday and he sent me a photo.
11. The wife asked for something to organize her necklaces. Not sure if this what she was looking for but this is what she got.
12. My first attempt at something like this…my rendition of a clock from Salvador Dali’s painting “Persistence of Memory”. “Time”, walnut, by me, 2020
13. First post here. Not sure if railing gets any love but I have tons of pictures of all the rails and stairs I used to install in the DMV area.
14. 1st dovetail attempt and I had to mix it up a little, the jigsaw dovetail! Needs practice…
15. I made an epoxy-river river-paddle for paddling on rivers (my mom think I’m punny… that’s about it)
16. Bought this dinghy for $20 and restored it. Taking it out this weekend!
17. Just finished my first real piece of furniture (mid century modern walnut coffee table) in my small shed workshop with tools I’ve bought off craigslist.
18. Finally got around to finishing my first real desk, I’m super proud.
19. First post here and ever. Made a crane lamp out of little pieces of plywood. Thought you might like it!
20. My Mini Closet Woodshop
21. My biggest project yet 🙂
22. I finished this wood comb a few days ago, this time I added a mushroom model.
23. An exterior door I recently completed in knotty alder.
24. Saw stop saved my finger, so I memorialized my first (and hopefully last) one into a shop clock.
25. I Am Groot
26. I’ve worked a fair chunk of my life in high end homes and at least a couple mansions. All of the built ins and custom woodworking touches that I would have loved to have. I can finally afford to work for me .
27. Black walnut, sugar maple, and American cherry end grain cutting board. I love the contrast they create!
