If you’re getting tired of the responsibilities of being a human, I absolutely hear you. Sometimes I look at my cat and think “you have no idea how good you have it, you don’t even know your shapes and you get to just lay around all day.” Well, luckily for humans, a Japanese creative studio called Shindo Rinka has collaborated with a modeling workshop called 91 to create masks that look identical to your cat.
All you have to do is take a photo of your cat in good lighting and send it to the company. They take care of the rest and you are one step closer to escaping from your human responsibilities. In the time it takes for them to manufacture the mask, make sure you’re using your time wisely to start practicing all your cat behaviors and consider who you want to be as a cat. Do you want to be more of a lazy Garfield-esqe lap cat or do you want to frantically dart around the house 24/7?
Shindo Rinka then creates a mask of a 3D mold covered with fur that’s probably a little too realistic but it will work. All the details they include (in combination with your learned cat behaviors) will ensure you are accepted by your new feline brothers and sisters.
These masks come with a hefty price of $2,000 because it is created by hand to look exactly like your pet. This craftsmanship of course doesn’t come cheap.
They do not yet offer masks that look like humans for your cat to wear. Just remember, the grass is always greener on the other side.
