Bernie Sanders sat down in a chair at the inauguration and instantly became a meme. I bet he probably didn’t think he’d be talked about more than the actual events of Joe Biden’s inauguration but here we are. It seems like every year Bernie becomes a viral meme for something.
First, people meme’d him for carrying an envelope and wearing mittens to the inauguration but him sitting in a chair is a whole mood. I think that’s why it caught on the way it has.
