People Are Sharing Ridiculous Customer Demands In This Twitter Thread (35 Tweets)

Dealing with awful people and their ridiculous customer demands at a job you hate is the worst. When I was 19 I worked at a clothing store in a mall and one day we were having a huge sale with everything marked 50% off. There was a line out the door and I was working the cash register. A customer bought $400 worth of stuff, and we were having a nice conversation while I was ringing her up as fast as I could.

She gave me a 50% off coupon, expecting me to add that to the automatic 50% off she was already getting. First of all, what company would allow that to happen? I told her the policy doesn’t allow that and I could not use that coupon.

She freaked out yelling at me and asked for my manager, who was also 19. She left after wasting all of our time on the busiest day of the year. That’s the most ridiculous customer demand I ever had at that job.

Entitled customers are the worst. People are sharing their stories in this Twitter thread.
