Texas is experiencing its coldest winter weather in nearly 30 years and many of the people living in the state don’t even own a shovel. So how are they supposed to survive the winter weather when some people haven’t even seen snow in real life?
Twitter user EyesUp_Onion decided to share some practical winter survival tips for people who haven’t had to deal with this type of weather before and many people chimed in with their own advice in this wholesome thread.
Even though I have nowhere to go, my best advice for when you’re expecting terrible winter weather is to leave your windshield wipers up, so they don’t freeze to the windshield. It makes it much easier to clean off your car without breaking them. Trust me, I have and it’s the worst.
These are some great winter survival tips for anyone experiencing their first winter or just some solid reminders if you’re like me and forget to put on a hate when taking the dog out.
