My grandparents had these ugly plates hung up on the wall that we never ate off of. I asked them every time I ate there if I could use them and they always said no.
On the other hand, my mom still has cheap plastic plates my brother and I made in preschool that are still in use to this day. But not all plates are meant to be eaten off of.
This Berlin-based artist is serving bad humor on very ugly plates and these are our favorites.
