Parents Are Sharing Things Their Kids Refuse To Forget (50 Tweets)

Kids have great memories. They’re always paying attention, even when you don’t notice. I learned the hard way when I accidentally taught my girlfriend’s nephew the word “asshole” by mistake. I had no idea they’re always paying attention like they’re an Alexa.

One day we’ll say or do something that kids won’t let us forget. I have a few memories of my parents doing things that I still bring up today. My mom is very particular about keeping things clean. Especially when it comes to cooking in the kitchen. For some reason, she has this obsession with salmonella and disinfecting every surface after it touches raw chicken.

Now that you know that, she decided to make us chicken strips but they’re frozen so all you should have to do is pop them in the microwave for a few minutes, right? If she read the package correctly she would’ve seen that they were frozen RAW chicken strips and they needed to be cooked in the oven. I wish you could’ve seen the look on her face after I told her there was something wrong with a half-cooked piece of chicken on my plate. It was funny enough for me to bring this up at least once a year for the rest of my life.

These parents are sharing things their kids refuse to forget in this thread after a tweet by Twitter user Todd Dillard went viral and has other parents sharing things they’ve done that their kids just won’t forget.
