I don’t know what I would do without Tumblr and their wonderfully eloquent observations and theories about life. One week, someone points out that Parks & Rec, Pretty Little Liars, and Fast & Furious exist in the same universe. The next, I’m finding out that parrots are “jerks with no sense of self-preservation.”
This Tumblr thread started with a story about one person’s parrot being spooked by a pear, which lead to the bird flying into a wall. This lead to others chiming in with stories of their parrots being jerks and also other examples of their lack of self-preservation.
I don’t know anything about parrots. I have an Alexa and I’d imagine it’s similar? They just can’t tell me the weather or what year this movie came out. Sure, the government may be listening to every conversation I’m having in my apartment but at least Alexa doesn’t swear at me. Parrots are jerks.
