I pride myself on being able to see scams from a mile away. I get countless phishing emails and scam phone calls but sometimes you have almost no choice but to fall for a scam because it’s so normalized. Things like printer ink and college textbook prices are blatant rip-offs that give us no choice but fork over too much money because they know we have to.
