People Are Sharing Their Creative Approaches For Dealing With Scam Callers (50 Pics)

Scam callers are ruthless these days. Every once in a while I slip up and answer a call from an unknown number but I’m too nice to just hang up on them. I usually hear them out, pretend to be really interested, and then I hang up on them.

I figure if I waste a little bit of their time then that’s less time they have to scam someone else. I like to imagine I annoy the scam caller so much that they actually quit. That’s all I can do since I’m not creative or patient enough to scam the scammer.

We all have our own creative ways of handling a scammer. This Twitter thread full of people sharing their favorite way to deal with scam callers will give you some inspiration for the next time you get a call about your car’s extended warranty.
