Everyone loves a bargain, sure. But, did you know that some people shop strictly for status instead of quality and price? There’s a reason you can sort by “most expensive” on most websites. Did you not know that? Hmm, guess you’re not making as much as I thought.
Honestly, conspicuous consumption has gotten out of control and these ridiculously expensive and ridiculously ridiculous items prove it.
Weird expensive stuff shows your personality better than the people you choose to hang out with or the words you choose to use.
They say: “Look, I actually spent money on this!”
These oddities from a recently popular Twitter thread oddities people have found (specifically at Nordstrom’s) prove just that. Consider purchasing them and sending them directly to me. I’ll wear a diamond-studded chair to a party. I’m ready to live my best life.

1. You really gotta wait until these things go on sale. It’s silly to spend more then $80 on a rock.
