Gas Station Makes Town Laugh By Posting Jokes On Their Sign (30 Pics)

Since October of 2005, the popular Wallingford Sign at a Wallingford, Seattle propane gas station has been entertaining the local community and the internet by putting up a new joke every week.

The idea came to the owners after converting their business from an auto repair shop into an ExtraMile convenience store. It had always been easy to come up with store promotions and specials to advertise on the sign but once they converted their business, they decided to have some fun with it.

“Once per week. 4 lines. 17 characters per line.”
