There are so many clichés we seem to just accept in movies and tv. You can see them from a mile away. Sure, there needs to be some suspension of disbelief to enjoy most movies but how many times are we going to see the same stories over and over?
Writer @ellle_em mocks one particular angle in a hilarious thread about “Girl McWife” who is the protagonist of a psychological thriller. She nails it and I can think of quite a few movies off the top of my head that Girl McWife has been in.
