HBO Max mistakenly sent out an empty test email to a portion of their mailing list and totally threw the intern who made the mistake under the bus. In response, people are tweeting their support for the intern by sharing their own worst mistakes beginning with “Dear Intern.”
Sure, it sucks to make a very public mistake, but was it that big of a deal? After reading some of the “Dear Intern” stories, HBO Max should be happy it was just a silly test email and not something horrible.
This is the most wholesome thing I’ve seen today and I’m glad to see Twitter show up for the intern.
