If you’ve ever worked in customer service you know how tough it can be. Rude customers and crazy hours are taxing on your life. You’re on the front lines of society interacting with some of the craziest people and I don’t think you get enough credit.
I think everyone should work in customer service for a couple of years just to understand what it’s like being on the other side of the counter. Maybe we would all be a bit nicer and more patient when we’re out and about.
