Look, America isn’t perfect. Far from it. But that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate the good things about it while working our hardest to fix the things that are broken.
For my money, the freedom to tweet funny jokes about America (and indeed the development of Twitter itself) is a net positive American contribution to the world, so for just a few minutes, let’s laugh at this list of pretty great 4th of July Tweets that have no political agenda behind them whatsoever.
