I see a lot of jokes on the internet. And at times, I even try to make them.
Just part of the “job.” And after 15+ years of doing that job, I’ve grown accustomed to seeing a punchline well before it lands.
Except, of course, in a few rare instances, like these where the punchline hits me like a silent but deadly fart in an elevator—unexpected and impossible to ignore.
