You do what you gotta do to get a laugh. Fib, embellish, and sometimes even call folks out. Heck, these people even most likely faked stupidity for a laugh. The laugh comes first.
I personally don’t care if these people are faking being dumb just to make a joke. Sure, some look like they are actually just folks who aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but they have their place too. I’d honestly like to believe all of these are fake and there aren’t people like this actually walking around out there.
All being said, most of these are clearly fake. What is your take on it? Do you simply value the joke above all, or does it take away from it knowing some are made up?
