There have been countless debates online about American food vs. British food. Both countries are very passionate about their opinions, and it’s clear in the latest Twitter thread sparking a debate over American cheese.
Some people absolutely hate American cheese, but I grew up in the midwest and come from a middle-class family so I never knew how good cheese could be. It wasn’t until my adult years that I found out about cheddar. To be fair, American cheese on a burger is still pretty good. I don’t care if it’s 40% plastic.
I’ve never tried beans on toast, but if I had to choose, I’m probably sticking with American cheese. Either way, some of the opinions in this thread are hilarious.
