Twitter user @nathaliejacoby1 tweeted a horrifying story about how her dentist refused to give her Novocain because there “wasn’t enough time” for it to kick in and it ignited a thread full of dental horror stories. So much so that the word “Novocain” was trending on Twitter.
I don’t know anyone who enjoys going to the dentist, so it makes sense that this tweet resonated with people. Other dentists chimed in criticizing Nathalie’s dentists’ decision to refuse Novocain because there “wasn’t enough time” which gives me hope to know that not all dentists are awful. If you’re a dentist and you’re reading this…I’m not talking about you.
