British Bakery Goes Viral After Owner’s Rant About Being Reported For Using “Illegal Sprinkles”

A bakery in Leeds UK has gone viral after the owner went on a furious rant on Facebook. Get Baked was temporarily shut down because they were using American sprinkles which are illegal in the UK.

According to NPR, the sprinkles contain a regulated additive but the West Yorkshire Trading Standards agency deemed them illegal because they contain a coloring called erythrosine.

Whoever reported the bakery has some serious problems, but thankfully, it seems like new and old customers from all over are continuing to support the bakery.

Customers came to their defense in the comment section.

One customer even had an idea to continue serving the sprinkles.

Here’s another idea someone had.

Get Baked isn’t finished, though. Here’s some positive news about their future.

It’s nice to see people rally to support Get Baked.

After the story went viral, West Yorkshire Trading Standards confirmed their reasoning via Twitter.
