Twitter Reacts To TikToker’s Bizarre Grocery Store Conspiracy Theory (18 Tweets)

If you’re in the United States, you’ve likely noticed prices going up due to inflation and the supply chain issues we’re dealing with. People are stoking these fears with all sorts of silly conspiracy theories.

In a video from TikToker @thepropheticwarrior who can be seen pulling back a package of sugar at her local Target revealing nothing behind it. She alleges that this is somehow a scam and that there’s a cover-up for the lack of product.

Anyone who has worked retail understands that this is just a way of stocking the shelve so they look organized. Restocking usually happens overnight since it’s such a big task. Retail workers of Twitter were quick to point this strategy out in this Twitter thread.

There are plenty of things to worry about, but it seems like this isn’t one of them.
