35 Times No One Asked But People Overshared On Social Media Anyway

Everyone overshares online.

Actually, I’d posit that 99% of social media posts are in some way, oversharing.

But there’s a special kind of not “reading the room” you’ll see on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or in the comment sections of nearly every website ever.

Do people really think an article about voting rights is the best place to talk about their recent urinary tract infection? Are they starving for attention? Crying for help?

Hard to say, but one thing’s for sure — oversharing can be just right for comedy.
