It never feels good being singled out, or “called out” as the kids say. Or do they say “I feel seen?” I can’t keep up with youth lingo anymore. My point is sometimes stuff feels weirdly personal even though you know it isn’t. Just know it is probably very humorous to someone else.
Mel Brooks said it best: “Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die.”
