When you’re a kid, you’ll believe anything. We all have something we were shocked to learn was false when we discovered the truth. I don’t mean the silly lies our parents tell us either. I mean things you just don’t understand about the world.
For example, when I was a kid, I thought the clouds moving was a result of the Earth rotating. When I realized how incorrect that was, I just imagined how insane that would be if Earth rotated that fast.
