Like it or not, gifts are a part of Christmas, and the pressure that comes along with it sucks. The best gifts are when you know the person so well you get inspired and think of a great idea. There’s nothing worse than feeling obligated to get something for someone.
One time, my brother gave me a copy of season 3 of The Office on DVD. I told him I hadn’t seen the show yet. He said, “I got it for free, so I thought you would like it.” It made us laugh, and after reading this thread, I consider myself lucky.
